Technology Transfer Office (TTO) serves as a bridge to connect the research community to industry. It does this through strategic evaluation, protection, and licensing of innovations to enable excellent science and entrepreneurship to complement each other. The Centre for IPR and TTO at Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC) was established to perform these functions.
TTO aims to contribute to regional economic development, generate revenue streams for inventors and their institutions and promote the economic well-being of the masses. We aim at creating awareness about the patenting process along with the tricky business of commercializing your patents. Our team of professionals offers their rich experience in diverse fields of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Medical Devices, Chemistry, IP, and Contract Laws. TTO can also help with defraying costs for filing patent applications for deserving inventions. Under our current setup, the TTO is now able to offer its skills and resources to your organization.
CIIC is associated with Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) in Bengaluru to further these activities as a collaborative effort. We at CIIC serve as the business arm for OTT @ C-CAMP in the city of Chennai.
